Expands platform for Early Design Closure®
ANAHEIM, Calif., June 9, 2008 — Atrenta Inc., the leading provider of Early Design Closure® solutions to radically improve design efficiency throughout the IC design flow, today announced at the 45th Design Automation Conference the availability of 1Team®-Genesis. This new product focuses on the capture of design specifications, automated generation of design descriptions/documentation, rapid exploration of design alternatives and highly efficient "correct-by-construction" chip assembly.
Early Design Closure solutions from Atrenta allow design capture, verification, optimization and exploration early in the design flow at the register transfer language (RTL) stage, when it’s faster and easier to correct problems and explore alternatives. This approach facilitates propagation of design efficiencies to detailed, back-end implementation, with minimized schedule risk.
1Team-Genesis also forms the basis for a strategic collaboration initiative with STMicroelectronics in the area of power estimation and management. As part of this program, ST and Atrenta are collaborating on the development of architectural tools to support power, voltage and clock domain planning as well as advanced power estimation techniques.

The newly expanded 1Team product line, along with Atrenta’s industry standard SpyGlass product suite for RTL verification and optimization, deliver one of the industry’s most comprehensive solutions for Early Design Closure.
